Our team of highly qualified and experienced technicians specialize in the custom fabrication of components and assembling them with precision. Machine Work Done On-Site
Once the engine is built, we can then start putting together the rest of the bike. We take great care to make sure that all other components are also properly installed and configured for optimal performance. This includes the exhaust system, air intake, fuel delivery system, ignition system, cooling system and more.
Once the head work is complete, the cylinder heads must pass a vacuum test to ensure proper sealing of the valves. The extensive head work we’ve done means that the original jetting or EFI tables are no longer applicable, so upon completion of tuning, for the carbureted bikes we adjust the accelerator pump circuit to ensure maximum throttle response and optimal performance. We also use Ampco 45 seats and guides, which are better suited for titanium valves than the stock materials. The Ampco 45 is also much more efficient at transferring heat, allowing us to achieve a higher level of reliability. In short, this process guarantees that you will get optimal performance out of your vehicle.
When the valve job is complete, we also unshroud the valves to enhance flow. This increases airflow over the ports, allowing for more efficient combustion and better overall performance. To achieve this, our technicians reshape the ports, modify the bowl and chamber to ensure that each part of the engine works together harmoniously. With a high-performance valve job, engine power is increased and the car’s performance is improved. Additionally, a properly done valve job can reduce fuel consumption, making it even more worth the effort. On some of our higher performance builds we install oversize valves and machine a five-angle valve job for better performance.
